Delete Your Tova Account
We’re sorry to see you go! Before deleting your account, please read this page carefully to understand what happens when you permanently remove your Tova profile.
1. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Deleting your Tova account is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted:
- Your profile, photos, messages, and matches will be permanently removed.
- You will lose access to your account history and chat data.
- Your profile will no longer be visible to other users.
- Any premium subscriptions will be canceled, but we cannot issue refunds for unused portions of paid plans.
2. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Tova account at any time using the steps below:
- Open the Tova app and go to your Profile tab.
- Tap Settings ⚙️.
- Select Account → Delete Account.
- Follow the prompts to confirm your decision.
Once confirmed, your account will be queued for permanent deletion. This process may take up to 30 days to complete, during which time your information will no longer be visible to other users.
3. Data Retention After Deletion
We retain minimal data only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our Terms of Service. All other information associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized.
For example, we may keep records related to fraud prevention or law enforcement requests for a limited period after account deletion.
4. Reactivating Your Account
If you log in within 30 days of deleting your account, you may have the option to reactivate it before your data is permanently removed. After 30 days, recovery will no longer be possible.
